New wave of Gothic Rock at it's finest. This band has top level talent from well renowned acts involved so wasn't the least bit surprised upon hearing the opening track. If you miss late 80's to mid 90's gothic rock bands, I can't recommend this one enough.

This dark little thing flirts with many different styles and sounds: bass lines and vocals that oscillate between post punk and doom, guitar riffs that dance between shoegaze and post rock, and the gloomy atmosphere that only drone and cold wave can achieve. 'Aviaries' is greater than the sum of its parts. If you like dark, melancholic music, this stop is a must.
